West Ham have been linked with Mario Balotelli over the weekend. With Marko Arnautovic potentially leaving this month, Balotelli is a possible replacement.
According to Tutto Mercato Web, West Ham have been monitoring Balotelli. Genoa are also in the hunt, but Marseille lead the chase for the OGC Nice striker.
The 28-year-old has not scored this season and wants to leave Patrick Vieira’s Nice with West Ham a potential destination.
Balotelli previously played in the Premier League for Manchester City, where he scored 30 goals, including 20 in the league.
Later, the Italy international spent time at Liverpool, scoring four times in his one season at Anfield. This included just one Premier League goal in 16 outings.
Balotelli scored 26 goals for Nice last season but is yet to score in 10 games this season. West Ham could take a punt on him to solve their striker crisis if Arnautovic departs.
