Jordan Hugill scored his 12th goal for Queens Park Rangers at the weekend, as he continues to impress whilst on loan away from West Ham.
The 27-year-old joined the Hammers from Preston North End in January 2018 for around £9 million (Claret and Hugh).
He only made three appearances for the east London outfit. And whilst he failed to score, he was never really given a fair enough chance to impress.
Hugill, who earns £35,000 per week according to Claret and Hugh, was loaned out to Middlesbrough last season, where he experienced similar problems in front fo goal, scoring just seven in 42 games (Transfermarkt).
The striker has found his form at QPR, however. He has scored 12 goals in 33 Championship games so far this season (Transfermarkt).
The west London outfit are currently sitting in 16th spot in the table, but are only 11 points adrift of the play-off places.
If Hugill continues to score between now and the end of the season, he could easily end up with 20 goals. And if he does just that, it would represent a very successful season.
Might he still have a future at West Ham? His contract at the london Stadium expires in the summer, so who knows. But his form this season will surely give the Hammers a tough decision to make come the end of the season.
