There is a new injury doubt for West Ham ahead of Chelsea as a club source makes a claim about defender Thilo Kehrer.
As reported by Hammers News during the 1-1 draw at Newcastle, Kehrer was withdrawn at half-time after suffering what Sky Sports described as an “unspecified injury”.
Ben Johnson came on to replace Kehrer at right centre-back of the three and actually performed pretty well as West Ham dug in to secure a positive result.
With Kurt Zouma out as the result of a thigh muscle tear and Craig Dawson having been sold to Wolves, more bad news has emerged from the treatment room it seems.

There is a new injury doubt for West Ham ahead of Chelsea as a club source makes a claim about Kehrer.
The German was withdrawn with what is claimed to be a hamstring strain.
And a West Ham source has told Claret and Hugh that Kehrer is a doubt for the Chelsea match at the London Stadium this Saturday.
“Claret and Hugh learned this evening that Kehrer was taken off after feeling uncomfortable with his hamstring and no risks were going to be taken by the manager,” Claret and Hugh reports.

“And a top source told us that there were now worries that he could miss the London derby adding that although Chelsea.”
If Kehrer does miss the clash with London rivals Chelsea, David Moyes will have to decide whether to switch to a back four or bring Johnson in to replace him.
It is the latest in a growing injury list for West Ham ahead of the visit of the big-spending Blues.
Zouma and Maxwel Cornet are expected to miss the match while Alphonse Areola is also a doubt with his own hamstring injury which saw him miss the Newcastle draw.
Gianluca Scamacca , who supported his West Ham teammates from home at the weekend, has finished his treatment on a knee injury and could return to the squad, though.
