West Ham star Marko Arnautovic is fit to face Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.

According to Sky Sports News, Arnautovic will be available for selection when Spurs travel to East London this weekend.

It is a derby clash at The London Stadium this Saturday as West Ham take on rivals Spurs.

But there were doubts over Arnautovic’s fitness. These have now been calmed as he is fit and raring to go.

Arnautovic has an ongoing problem with his knee. He has bruising on his knee which is restricting his training time.

But he still remains keen to play all he possibly can for club and country.

The Austria international led the line for his country against Northern Ireland recently. And he scored the winner in a 1-0 victory.

But there was a pre-arranged agreement in place that Arnautovic would rest up and return to West Ham after this game.

Initially, fans were concerned that he’d withdrawn from international duty. But it is clear that he just needed to rest, rather than play in a friendly.

The 29-year-old is West Ham’s talisman and a maverick talent up front.

With four goals in seven games this season, it is clear that the Hammers are a much better force when Arnautovic is playing.

His pace, strength, skill and desire make him a well-rounded player and he continues to improve.

The Spurs defence would get a much easier ride if Arnautovic was ruled out with injury.
