West Ham should consider making a move for Eintracht Frankfurt hitman Sebastien Haller, as their search for a top class striker continues to rumble on.

Maxi Gomez appears to have his heart set on a move to Valencia, according to Sky Sports.

Meanwhile, Salomon Rondon is allegedly on the verge of a switch to China (The Sun).

With Marko Arnautovic heading towards the Hammers exit door, adding an established striker will be crucial to Manuel Pellegrini’s plans for next season.

And Haller might just be the perfect option for West Ham.

The 25-year-old Frenchman was in superb form in Germany last season. He racked up 20 goals and 12 assists in 41 appearances in all competitions.

And what an addition he would be for the Hammers.

Standing at 6ft 3in tall, Haller seems to possess the kind of physical stature needed to be a success in the Premier League.

He would be able to lead the line for West Ham with aplomb. And his ability to link up play between midfield and attack would be a great asset for them.

The Northern Echo claims that Haller could be available for around £40 million this summer. And in today’s day and age, that would actually represent decent value for money for West Ham.

And it could even be argued that the Frenchman would be a better option for the Hammers than Gomez.

He certainly has a better goalscoring record. And Pellegrini should do all that he can to bring him to the london Stadium this summer.
