According to a report from Football.London, Carlos Sanchez is almost certain to leave West Ham at the end of this season, and some Hammers fans took to Twitter in reaction to the speculation.

The 34-year-old joined the east London outfit in the summer of 2018, for a fee believed to be worth £3.7 million, according to Viola Nation.

But he has been an absolute disaster for West Ham.

In truth, the fact that Manuel Pellegrini thought Sanchez would actually be a worthwhile signing nearly two years ago is baffling in itself.

The Colombia international has gone on to make 17 appearances for West Ham, failing to register either a goal or an assist (Transfermarkt).

In 13 Premier League appearances for West Ham, the former Aston Villa man has racked up just five tackles and three interceptions. His tackle success rate is just 60%, and he has won less than 50% of his individual duals against opposing players (premierleague.com).

And some Hammers fans took to Twitter in reaction to the news…
