West Ham play host to Arsenal in the Premier League tonight.

The Hammers and the Gunners are in the midst of woeful runs of form.

Both sides need a win desperately, and it really could go either way.

Many West Ham fans wanted Manuel Pellegrini to play two up front against Arsenal tonight. But once again, the stubborn Chilean has stuck with the same old 4-1-4-1 formation.

And some Hammers fans vented their rage on Twitter…

And West Ham legend Trevor Sinclair thinks the same…

The former Manchester City boss really does seem clueless.

If there was ever a time to play a 4-4-2 or even a 3-5-2 it would be now against a fragile Arsenal side who look shaky every single time they defend.

West Ham have a real relegation battle on their hands at the moment. They are currently just one point clear of the drop zone.

If they lose tonight against Arsenal, panic really could set in.

And in all honesty, there would only be one man to blame if that turns out to be the case.
