ExWHUemployee claimed on Twitter last night that West Ham ace Felipe Anderson is ahead of schedule in his recovery from injury.
Could be back for the city game. He is ahead of schedule https://t.co/Do6D2Dpurg

Some Hammers fans have taken to Twitter to suggest that that roughly translates to the Brazilian being ‘rushed back’ from injury, however.
The 26-year-old has been missing since January 10th, after falling awkwardly against Sheffield United and subsequently injuring his back.
Anderson hasn’t been in his best form for West Ham this season. He has racked up just one goal and five assists in 21 games (Transfermarkt).
Having said that, he still remains one of the Hammers’ most important players. His pace and ability on the ball offers them something completely different. And his return will relieve the pressure somewhat on Michail Antonio’s shoulders.
Having him back as soon as possible could play a huge part in West Ham’s attempts to avoid relegation this season.
The really frustrating thing for Anderson, David Moyes and the Hammers fans is that he had just started to rediscover some of his best form in the two weeks leading up to his injury.
And now the club need the Brazilian to return to action on the very top of his game, both physically and mentally.
Some West Ham fans are concerned, however, that the former Lazio man is being rushed back…
No need to rush him back

what so we rush him back and then he gets injured again like we have done for countless other players

On a % of 1-100 how much does “Ahead of schedule” mean “Rushed back”
— Dan. (@dthomson123) February 11, 2020
110%, the exact same percentage of every single one of them getting injured in the first three matches after they come back.

so he’s being rushed back basically

Fredricks was also ahead of schedule. Which leads me to wonder if the schedule is based on Andy Carrol 🤔

Ahead of schedule he’s initial injury was only suppose to be a couple of weeks 🙈
