According to a report from Football Insider, Roberto has played his last game for West Ham.
The 33-year-old is set to join La Liga side Alaves on loan for the rest of the season, according to Spanish media outlet AS.
And Hammers fans will be delighted.
The Spaniard has been a total disaster for West Ham since moving to the London Stadium on a free transfer in the summer of 2019.
He is one of the worst goalkeepers to have ever graced the Premier League, if not the worst.
And it now seems as though his days in east London are numbered.
Football Insider claims that the West Ham hierarchy have decided that Roberto will never play for the club again.
The Hammers owners will be hoping that the 33-year-old impresses during his loan spell with Alaves, as unlikely as that may seem.
The Spaniard is still under contract with West Ham until the summer of 2021.
And the east London outfit might just be stuck with Roberto for the remainder of that deal, if he fails to impress with Alaves.
For now, however, Hammers fans will just be grateful that it is looking like he will not play for the club again this season at the very least.
