Gunners boss Mikel Arteta will be keen to bolster his attacking ranks with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette both facing uncertain futures at the Emirates.
And the same could be said for Hammers boss David Moyes. The Scot needs to bring in more quality competition for the misfiring Sebastien Haller.
According to a report from French media outlet Le 10 Sport, West Ham want to sign Guirassy. Tottenham are also allegedly keen on the 24-year-old Amiens striker.
But the Daily Mail are now claiming that Arsenal could gatecrash their London rivals’ interest in the Frenchman.
The Frenchman has scored nine goals in 24 Ligue 1 outings for Amiens so far this season. In total, he has scored 38 goals in 150 career club appearances (Transfermarkt).
Standing at 6ft 2in tall, Guirassy is strong in the air. In 24 league games this season, he has won an average of 4.1 aerial duals per game (Who Scored).
In those outings, the Amiens hitman averages 1.9 shots, 0.7 dribbles and 0.6 key passes per game (Who Scored).
The Sun claims that Guirassy could be available for just £15 million this summer.
And given the current climate, that might prove to be appealing to Arsenal, West Ham and Tottenham.
The Gunners’ reported interest in the 24-year-old will undoubtedly be a headache for the Hammers, however. And one that David Moyes really could have done without.
