Mark Noble is West Ham’s penalty taker. That is undisputed. And he undoubtedly will be until he hangs up his boots.
The Hammers skipper has scored 38 from a possible 42 – an incredible success rate of 90%.
What would happen though if Noble wasn’t playing and West Ham were given a penalty? Who would take the spot kick?
The Hammers skipper revealed all during a live Q&A session on West Ham’s official Twitter account:
Is supposed to be pretty good he says

Sebastien Haller joined the Hammers from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2019 for around £45 million (BBC).
The 25-year-old has really struggled to make an impact at the London Stadium, however. The Frenchman has bagged just seven goals in 29 games for West Ham (Transfermarkt).
In fairness to Haller, however, he should be given at least a full season to acclimatise to the ferocious pace of Premier League football.
It seems as though he just needs a goal or two to help improve his confidence. And the ideal way for that to happen would be a chance from 12 yards out.
Would Noble consider handing over the penalty duties to help out his teammate? Perhaps not if the game was still hanging in the balance.
It will be interesting to see just how good the Frenchman is from the spot, however, if he is given a chance to prove himself between now and the end of the season.
