West Ham duo Mark Noble and Angelo Ogbonna fell out in a big way during West Ham’s defeat to Crystal Palace on Boxing Day, and ExWHUemployee has moved to clarify the situation between the two players.
The Hammers led early on in the second-half against the Eagles, but relinquished their lead, eventually losing the game 2-1.
They now sit in 17th spot in the Premier League table, just one point clear of the drop zone, having won just two of their last 12 league games.
And it seems that the problems are running deep at West Ham.
Noble absolutely went off at Ogbonna during the second-half at Selhurst Park.
And ExWHUemployee claims that it was all down to the fact that the Hammers skipper didn’t think that the Italian did enough to cover Aaron Cresswell when he was beaten down the left-hand flank:
No it was just a disagreement on the pitch. Noble felt Ogbonna should have made more attempt to cover Cresswell. That was it I believe. They are fine now and have been training together https://t.co/0i44ZTBBc1

Hopefully this is true, and the two players have already moved on from their unsavoury disagreement on Thursday.
Today’s game at home to Leicester is a huge one for West Ham. And they need everyone on board, if they are to have any chance whatsoever of beating the Foxes.
