West Ham ace Declan Rice raved about the quality of his teammate Sebastien Haller, when speaking exclusively to the club’s official website, suggesting that the Frenchman has looked ‘really good’ thus far.
The 25-year-old joined the Hammers from Eintracht Frankfurt in July for around £45 million. And he has made a fine start to life in east London.
Haller has racked up three goals in as many outings so far, and it seems as though he will be an excellent addition for West Ham.
The 6ft 3in target man has showcased his exceptional ability to hold the ball up. And his finishing appears to be right out of the top drawer.
If Haller can record 20 goals or more this season, the Hammers will undoubtedly be in for a successful campaign.
And Rice took time to praise his West Ham teammate, when speaking to reporters, as quoted by WHUFC.com:
“Seb is a great lad. I’m buzzing for him. We paid a lot of money for him and I’m delighted for him that he’s got his goals. All our strikers have always given everything and I can’t say a bad word about them, as they’ve all given everything for the team. Now, we’ve got Seb and he looks really good.”
Next up for the Hammers is a trip to Aston Villa on Monday night, and it would be no surprise to see Haller add to his goal tally.
The Frenchman will undoubtedly be a key man for West Ham this season and come May, £45 million might just look like a real bargain for the east London outfit.
