ITV have posted an appreciation video message about West Ham star Flynn Downes and David Moyes must take note.
West Ham have endured a woeful Premier League season thus far and there has been little to show for the unprecedented £170m spend in the summer.
But ask any West Ham fan who is emerging as their best bit of business and Downes will be top of the list.
The boyhood Hammers fan was snapped up for around £14m from Swansea. And he has been named man of the match nearly every time he has been handed a rare start.

The fact Downes has been so sparingly used by Moyes is one of many sticks that have been used to beat the Scot.
Downes was absolutely sensational for West Ham yet again when given a start in the 2-0 FA Cup win over Derby County.
The 24-year-old oozed class at Pride Park and totally dominated the midfield.
But as is always the case when the former Ipswich man shines in the claret and blue it begs the question – why has he not played more for West Ham this season?
Now ITV have posted an appreciation video message about West Ham star Downes and Moyes must take note.
ITV Football posted a video highlights reel of Downes’ West Ham performance on Twitter with an applause emoji and the words: “Flynn Downes appreciation post.”
Yes it was League One opposition but Downes has performed like this on every single start he has made.

Yet Moyes has given the midfielder just 763 minutes of action this season, with only 283 of those coming in the Premier League (Transfermarkt).
His mobility, passing, tackling, energy, tenacity, reading of the game and anticipation make him the perfect modern day holding midfielder.
And he is comfortable on the ball too.
Moyes must take note of just how impressed everyone else seems to be by Downes and give him a proper run in the West Ham side.
